IAC MAC: Purpose

NSI was one of ten Small Businesses (Pool 2) awarded a DoD wide contract vehicle known as the Defense Technical Information Center Information Analysis Center MAC (DTIC IAC MAC).    The DTIC IAC MAC vehicle provides a viable short turn task/delivery order vehicle that we are encouraged to market for all U.S and FMS contract needs.  The vehicle allows primes to add additional/specialized subs on as needed.   The vehicle task orders are limited to $15M, allow a pass thru to similarly qualified small businesses (less than 1000 FTEs), advertises task order award in 56 days to 7 month period, only a 1% gov’t pass thru fee, and has an established IAC MAC Customer Support Cell at FT  Belvoir VA.  The vehicle is open to DoD, Federal Agency, State, Local and approved FMS customers. NSI views this vehicle as a fast-paced tool to overcome existing contract shortcomings while only allowing our pre-qualified companies to compete.
